Speaker 1:

Hey guys, welcome back to On your Best Behavior. You're here with Mac and Kelly.

Speaker 2:

Nailed it. I know, I just saw this. You are so good. It's almost like this is your 102nd episode.

Speaker 1:

No, I think it's like our fifth. Okay, all right.

Speaker 2:

What up?

Speaker 1:

Buttercup? I have no idea what's cooking? Little chicken. All right, I'm cooking chicken ravioli right now.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm just cooking Yummy. Yeah. Speaking of chickens, I kind of was like why don't we have chickens today?

Speaker 1:

Cause we have one more bunny left.

Speaker 2:

It's either a cat or chickens.

Speaker 1:

next you get a pick.

Speaker 2:

Well, I think it can be a kitten and a couple of chickens.

Speaker 1:

How many is a couple of chickens?

Speaker 2:

Like three, two, three. Yeah, okay, I don't know, we'll see what happens.

Speaker 1:

Are we gonna use our own egg? I'm doing some research, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Ooh, all right, I'm gonna do some research. Justin's gonna tell me I guess I'm gonna be cooking up eggs a lot then. Yup, we have an eggs with every meal Protein.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I guess so.

Speaker 2:

Plant-based protein, free-range chickens, organic yeah, what's new. What's new? I mean, I have a list of things to talk about. Do you want me to start or do you want to start?

Speaker 1:

You can start what you can start.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, okay. So I know you're gonna love this story.

Speaker 1:

All right.

Speaker 2:

But I think it's really funny. So I just want to let you know that of all the girls that I hang out with, I have the boss, uterus.

Speaker 1:

What.

Speaker 2:

Do you know what that means? No, so that means when my uterus decides it's time to have a period. Everyone else is, uterus is like. Now we have to have a period too.

Speaker 1:

Really.

Speaker 2:

That's how girls work, so whoever's the dominant boss?

Speaker 1:

that doesn't make sense, though. Start the cycle and that's me. That makes no sense.

Speaker 2:

So just so you know, my uterus is a boss.

Speaker 1:

That's wild.

Speaker 2:

All right, next thing is about you.

Speaker 1:

All right, do you want me to take that off?

Speaker 2:

Take the lead.

Speaker 1:

All right, well, anyways.

Speaker 2:

In case you notice, mackie might sound a little bit different.

Speaker 1:

I don't really sound different. I mean maybe a little bit honey on the stomach somewhere. As I say, home words are sure.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

I got braces is what happened?

Speaker 2:

Oh, brace face, All right shh. I think you look cute, it looks better than I do. It looks better than I anticipated.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know.

Speaker 2:

I was like I got wee wee. Has your mouth been sore?

Speaker 1:

Not really. It just hurts when I bite on anything too hard. Just put pressure on my teeth, it hurts. So have you changed your diet?

Speaker 2:

No more chips no. No, I mean, I feel like on Wednesday, it'll be better. What is the number one food you miss right now that you haven't been able to?

Speaker 1:

eat Anything that's hard fast food, yeah, oh yeah, you had to when you said, what do you want to get? And I couldn't get anything.

Speaker 2:

I asked Mackie, do you want to get dinner? Last night and you said you couldn't get anything. No, the only thing.

Speaker 1:

I can eat is noodles, bro, cause I can, I guess, like I just swallow it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like I only had juice. That's what she said.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, oh, okay, all right, you have to do a great start, so far All right.

Speaker 2:

so yeah, braces. T minus two years.

Speaker 1:

It's usually a little over two years.

Speaker 2:

All right, Anoka basketball we went to a playoff game. That was such a fun game.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, it was really crazy as wild.

Speaker 2:

It was wild. We won by just a couple of points, yeah.

Speaker 1:

We won like by like five points. Yeah, that's a couple, that's not bad.

Speaker 2:

I mean whatever. A couple plus. It was a super fun game, super good game, lots of energy, super close game. And then they went to another playoff game to go to state, but then we lost. So anyway there was some excitement. It was a good season. Aj played a ton. It was awesome. All the kids played super good. Yeah, it was a great time. It was payday for me this week. Do you know what?

Speaker 1:

happens what? It was payday for me this week? What?

Speaker 2:

happened. Do you know what happens on?

Speaker 1:

payday, you get your money.

Speaker 2:

And I treat myself to a trip to the Dollar Tree and to the Dollar Tree To TJ Max and Marshalls for K-Beauty, Because, as you know, oh did Paisley's food thing just go off.

Speaker 1:

Yep, I did.

Speaker 2:

And it's been daylight savings, so that's a lot of whack. Anyway, I'm super confused because that says 502 and this says 551, but I forget that. So I'm like what is the real time?

Speaker 1:

What is your time? 551. Oh really.

Speaker 2:

Isn't? It feels so much later than it should. Okay, anyway, then it sucks On TikTok. Now I'm down the K-Beauty hole, which is Korean beauty, which you know because you've been participating in yes, in our night beauty routine, so that our skin is on point. So when you see me poppin' with this skin and you're like damn girl, they see me rollin'.

Speaker 1:

How did you see such good face? They hate it.

Speaker 2:

They patrolling, trying to catch me ridein' dirty.

Speaker 1:

Put my face in the sun clean. Put my face in the sun clean. Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 2:

So anyway, so I got some fine, I found some fines, did that, avoided all the bunny stuff. If you see me and you like me and you wanna get, me a gift. It's bunny season and there's so much cute bunny decor.

Speaker 3:

I love it.

Speaker 2:

I went to the Dollar Tree, hit the lip gloss jackpot. I think I bought like $20. Okay, what? It's the lip gloss and it's a dollar a piece. That's like 20 lip glosses. I have them all like stacked up over there, if you can see them, because I'm opening them as I use them, so I know which ones oh? Dang, that's what happened. 20 bucks for 20 lip gloss Like that's a good deal. Oh yeah, I got my permit to carry, but actually, yeah, I did, I do too, you don't.

Speaker 1:

I know I don't.

Speaker 2:

You have to be 21.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, I'm there already.

Speaker 2:

So now I'm trying to figure out what gun I wanna get. So I shot a Hellcat. I shot Justin's. What does he have? A SIG, A SIG P365.

Speaker 1:

A revolver and.

Speaker 2:

I don't wanna carry a revolver. So I love that SIG 365, but I don't want the same gun that he has. You should get the prototype. What's that? Oh, that's for the game. You can't get that. I also shot a Glock 19.

Speaker 1:

The prototype's looking like a Glock.

Speaker 2:

I don't like Glock's, I don't like the way they feel in my hand and I feel like I have a small hand and I don't have a strong grip. So, anyway, if you are especially a lady and you have the same problems I have and you found a good fit, how about you, girl?

Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm denying pistol.

Speaker 2:

Anyway. So that's what. So I went down that rabbit hole of trying to figure out Rabbit hole, what gun. But it's so hard to pick a gun when you haven't shot it, I guess yeah. Anyway, anyway, I got my taxes done. Taxes were depressing this year.

Speaker 2:

I know I didn't get money back, but it's not my year to claim you, so that's a hit and I did it myself and that was fine, and I just feel like the economy sucks, and I've talked about this on many episodes. So I feel like my tax return is usually much larger than it was this year and I just feel like it's all full circle the economy sucks.

Speaker 1:

I know they're making stuff go up, but they're not giving you enough pay at work.

Speaker 2:

And that's not just, I think that's everywhere.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, 100% yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm not begging on my own thing, I'm begging on the world. So guess who's on the city council? Your mom.

Speaker 1:

No, that's me Me.

Speaker 2:

So my first meeting is this week, so I had to get all my paperwork together for that. I don't know, she's not even gonna and got some really great guests coming up, so I'm excited about that on the podcast. Actually, yeah, do you have anything else that you wanna talk about? Holy, crap. Otherwise we have a great guest today, I mean I'm not gonna slow it down.

Speaker 1:

Let's get to the guest.

Speaker 2:

All right, so today our guest is June Hessler, the Midwest medium, and she is a psychic and, yeah, this is a really great interview. It was super interesting, so here she is.

Speaker 1:

Let's get into it. ["best Behavior"].

Speaker 2:

You're listening to another episode of On Our Best Behavior and today we have a very special guest. We have June Hessler. She is a faith-based medium, animal communicator, laying on hands, healer and also host of the Midwest medium podcast. June is a psychic medium who can help you connect with your departed loved ones, spirit guides and guardian angels. Her spiritual abilities allow June to communicate the loving messages and wisdom from those in the heavenly realms, along with providing their priceless guidance, which is intended to help you along life's journey.

Speaker 3:

Welcome June. Hi Kelly, thank you so much for having me. I'm excited to talk with you.

Speaker 2:

I'm very excited to talk to you, so tell me what I missed. A little bit more about yourself.

Speaker 3:

Oh gosh. Well, thank you for the intro. It was very nice and accurate and I appreciate that. So, as you said, I am a psychic medium. I'm located in the North Metro of the Twin Cities. Most of my work I do via Zoom, so I work with people all over the country. I work as a medium. As we mentioned. I can help people connect with the souls of the departed, people that they've lost, people that they missed, people that they want to reconnect with, including their animals, which I really didn't expect in it, and that happened really quickly, and so I really want people to know that, yes, when your pets pass, they do go to animal heaven. I promise you, I see them all the time.

Speaker 3:

The laying on hands healing is a little bit newer for me. I learned that from Ekobodin, who is a world-renowned psychic and very highly evolved laying on hands healer. So it's busy, it's beautiful work. I very much enjoy it. I get to meet so many different types of people and it's fun, it's very rewarding and you'll laugh, you'll cry. It's so wonderful. I feel that when I do readings for people, yes, they're being gifted this reading and these lovely messages that come from the other side, but it really is also a gift for me because I get to be a part of it, so it's really great.

Speaker 2:

I have bunnies.

Speaker 3:

I know you have bunnies, you're bunnies.

Speaker 2:

But what? Sometimes, when they're really like comfortable and happy, they just like flop over, like they kind of like they died. I saw that out of my peripheral. I'm like, oh, he's comfortable, sorry. Oh, that's so cute, oh my gosh. So back back on track. How did you discover your ability as a medium?

Speaker 3:

So it's definitely not something. I went looking for Quick little backstory which will help explain some things about gosh. I think 12 years ago 13 years ago now, when I was living in Woodbury, I came across a psychic medium that was working out of an office just a few blocks from my house and, for whatever reason, I saw her sign you know her advertisement sign outside the building and it stuck with me for weeks. Her name and the description on the sign would replay in my head for literally like two or three weeks and then finally I said, okay, fine, I'll go see her, never having seen a psychic or a medium before, and I surrendered and I went not really knowing what to expect, and that was really how mediumship was introduced into my life. Aside from that, I would watch Sylvia Brown on Montel Williams growing up as a kid, but other than that, I really had no preconceived notions of what a psychic medium was, other than really Sylvia Brown all those years ago, and so that first experience with her was really beautiful.

Speaker 3:

There were things that she knew that I called not Googleable she I mean the love of one years ago, I mean it was a long yeah, it was a long time and she brought through people that had passed and all all these validations or evidence. I would call it evidential mediumship. I call it, you know, giving validations, which is really important for the client. And that was my introduction and I really trusted her so I would see her once every six months or once a year when I felt like I needed to see her, and so I, she and I built this. I'm sure I remembered her much more than she remembered me. She had so many clients, but she was such an important part of my life in terms of spirituality, believing in life after death and so many other things.

Speaker 3:

I didn't grow up religious. I didn't. I was never baptized or confirmed that kind of thing, so I didn't really have a religious upbringing other than, yes, I celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Easter, yes, I'm a Christian, but it was really, by cultural standards, not really a religious aspect for me. And so, fast forward all these years later, in 2008, my son, jack, was stillborn and at that time I talked to God and I said I need to understand where do we go after we die? I need to know where he is. And so I went on sort of I don't know if you want to call it like a spiritual quest, I suppose in really wanting to understand where we go.

Speaker 3:

You know, over the years I've had so many different paranormal supernatural experiences kind of interwoven in my life, and then when Jack died, it really kind of, I would say, catapulted me into wanting to truly know what's real, what is the truth, what happens, where is my son? You know all these questions that a bereaved mother would have. And so I started listening to podcasts actually, and started watching the paranormal television shows, listening to podcasts about paranormal and the supernatural, and I was actually listening. I was becoming a fan of Bridget Markord, who has her podcast what is it Girl's?

Speaker 2:

sex score.

Speaker 3:

Well, she has Ghost Magnet.

Speaker 2:

Oh, we actually did that for a little bit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, she has her own paranormal podcast where she has great guests on. She really I was actually really impressed by her interview process. I really became a fan of her and she was talking about this class that she was taking, basically a paranormal, investigative type class. I think it's called psychological paranormal something I'm blanking on it now and so I actually messaged her producers and I said can you please tell me where she's taking this class, because I also want to take a class and I want to find out if this is the right class for me. So they gave me the information.

Speaker 3:

I researched the class and I quickly realized it was not a class I wanted to take. So, reason being, it was very it was, you know, a lot of book work, a lot of writing papers. I'm a master's degree, I've been there, I've done that, I'm done with like formal education, and so that wasn't the class I wanted. I knew I needed a class and I remember telling my husband one day about this and I said there's a class I need to take, I just don't know what it is. And he said you'll know it when you see it, and I'm not even kidding you that very week. The medium her name is Oracle Marine, the medium I had seen all those years ago in Woodbury. I follow her on Facebook.

Speaker 3:

She posted that she was teaching a class over Zoom about how to full circle, how to connect with your, your spirit guides and your guardian angels. And I said that is the class I want. I know her, I've known her for a long time, I trust her completely. That's the class I want, and so I signed up. Shortly into the class, she had us practice mediumship. I'm finally answering your question.

Speaker 3:

She had us practice mediumship and I thought, yeah, okay, I'm not a medium. My pre-seek, my preconceived notion was you know, you're a medium from like the second you're born. I'm not a medium, you know that kind of thing. And I said to myself, okay, fine, you know, I trust her, I like her, I'm in the class, I will practice the mediumship and soon enough. When I was practicing mediumship outside of class with classmates, I would see their deceased loved ones come through and I would deliver their messages and my classmates would validate a lot of the things I was telling them. And my mind is blown because I didn't think I was a medium. And things are happening, things are moving, people are coming through. It was mind blowing and extremely beautiful and I knew it really was resonating with people when I deliver these messages and they'd start crying, and so that is basically the long version of how mediumship came into my life. And really it was my son. God used I truly believe God used my son and his death to catapult me in this direction and on this journey.

Speaker 2:

So what gave you peace with Jack? Like, when did you realize where he was, that he was okay? What gave you that piece of on that journey?

Speaker 3:

So before this class actually, I had a couple of visitations, still not knowing I was a medium, not knowing I was psychic, but, as I mentioned before, kind of supernatural and paranormal experiences are interwoven into my life. And a few months after he passed he visited me and I call it like a dream visitation. I've really learned the difference between a dream and a visitation or a vision. This was a dream visitation and we were standing side by side and we were looking at a beautiful blue sky and I saw these white I guess you call it. They kind of look like the stars in the night sky. But it wasn't a night sky, it was a beautiful blue sky and there was like these white specks or these white stars ascending from right to left, kind of scattered but going in the same direction is the best way I can describe it. And telepathically I said what is that? And he said those are the souls that are trying to get into heaven.

Speaker 1:

Wow.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that is. I mean, this is before my Bible study. This is before my OSEA program that I'm in. This is before my mediumship. This is before everything happened. So I know I didn't make it up. I know it wasn't a dream. He was there. I could feel him when I woke up I could. It felt like I just had spent time with him. So that is part of what has brought me peace Since my mediumship awakening, I guess you could call it.

Speaker 3:

He's visited me several times since, and so some of that I keep private, it's between my husband and I, and some of it I don't share. But I know he's safe, I know he's okay, I know he's in heaven and it's such a gift. You know how many moms are that lucky? Not a lot, yeah. So that's why I really try to talk about it and not keep that part of my life hidden, because I think it's very important for bereaved parents to know there is more when you lose a child, they do go to heaven. I mean it's, I've seen it, so it's. I'm very fortunate that way and that is how I've been able to make peace with his passing. It doesn't mean I don't miss him. It doesn't mean I don't wish he was still here. Of course I wish all of those things, but I'm very fortunate that way that I've gotten to see where he is now.

Speaker 2:

So can I be a part of his afterlife situation? You know if you will, yeah, yeah, yeah, I wanted to. I wanted to go back when you were talking about before. You knew that you were a medium and you would watch, like Sylvia Brown, on Montel. And my mom she was, she loved Sylvia Brown and she read like all of her books and she, you have to read this, you have to read this. And I was like, okay, mom, you know, sure, whatever. And I was at the time like super and this is a long time ago, I don't even know how old I was, but I was super afraid of dying, like I just had a strong fear of like I didn't ever want to die. I was super scared of dying. I was scared of dying young. And then I read those books and it just gave me a sense of like security, like it is okay, everyone dies and when I die I'm going to be okay. So, anyway, I just thought it was funny that you had mentioned her.

Speaker 3:

So yeah, I think Sylvia Brown was definitely a gift to the world in that, first of all, she documented so much in writing her books. I've read many of her books and she was willing and able to go into a show like Montel Williams that so many of us in the 90s grew up with. I've learned through my own experience as much of what she writes about is true and is what happens. I can't speak to all of it because I haven't experienced all of it, but she was a qualified psychic. She wasn't someone that made things up just to make things up, and so I stand behind what she shared with the public before her passing. I think she was a gift to many of us and I'm so glad that her name still carries on. People still read her books today. I think it's really important.

Speaker 2:

So can you explain the process of connecting with spirits or receiving messages from them?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I think every psychic or medium. By the way, there's a difference between the two. All mediums are psychics. Not all psychics are mediums, meaning not everyone can connect with souls of the departed. It's what is allowed for us. So I think it's different, probably, for everyone.

Speaker 3:

For me, I go through a meditation process. So before I connect with a client or before I do a group reading whether it's in person or over Zoom I always go into a meditation. I clear myself with sage. I clear my mind, my body, my aura, my emotions and my physical pain, because when I do a reading, I will start feeling physical pain on me, which is for the client.

Speaker 3:

So I really do everything I can to clear myself and I meditate for 20, 30 minutes before I go into the private reading or the group reading, which is really important because it calms my energy, it centers me, it grounds me and then it allows me to be more receptive to whether it's the spirit, guides, the guardian angels, departed loved ones, animals, whoever wants to come through and give the messages. So there's definitely, I guess, a ritual, you could call it. And then, after every reading, I have a closing down process where I give the gratitude to everyone, all the beings that came through close myself down energetically so I'm no longer linked to the other side. I've learned that if I don't do that, some negative things can come in, and I don't want to deal with those negative things, and so that's also a ritual for me is I always make sure I close down after so that I'm better protected and I can go on with my day.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to ask some ignorant questions because I don't know a lot about this, so if I say it wrong, just please correct me. Sure, when a loved one or a spirit or whoever is coming to you, do they tell you their identity? Or is it kind of like you're trying to between you and your client? You're trying to kind of figure out who this person is trying to come forward?

Speaker 3:

So what I tell clients is everything that comes through that day is further, greatest and highest good and it's everything that they've earned that day and it's and it's what the soul on the other side has earned as well. So, if you're familiar with Cameruzo, she's a famous medium out on the East Coast. She gets names all the time, like that's what she's known for. She gets names. Not every medium gets names. I sometimes get names, I sometimes don't get names. Sometimes the names can be validated, sometimes they can't. So, with all of that in mind, and knowing that everything that comes through is what is earned for that day because it's definitely a work reward situation Sometimes it's working with the client to figure out who it is. So my job is to describe everything I'm seeing, feeling, hearing, and it's the client's job to either validate or, you know, tell me it makes sense or tell me that it doesn't make sense. Or is someone trying to come through that you don't want to talk to, or is someone trying to come through and you're you're not sure who it is and you want to try to get somebody else. I mean, there's a lot of different factors that come into play.

Speaker 3:

Oftentimes, with my work, the soul will come through. I always you know I'm like a detective for the client I always want to give a physical description. I want to give a description of their personality, their hobbies, their occupation, their marital status, their relationship with the client. How they passed will often come through as another validation. So I try to give as much validation as spirit will allow, and it's up to the client to to validate or deny.

Speaker 3:

There's times when I'm sitting with a client and they're in denial and I get blocked. I mean it's literally like a brick wall comes down in front of me and we're, you know, the client's being humbled and they'll keep me quiet for a few minutes until the client remembers they're there for a reason. They put resources you know, their time and money into the reading for a reason, so that can happen too. So there's a lot of different things that are factored in, but it's definitely a very rewarding experience and I have many clients, you know, if something comes through that doesn't make sense that day and I tell people that all the time because it's true, some things will make sense that day, some things will make sense later, when you can talk to your family and get validation or something you're just not remembering right now, you'll remember maybe in a week or two. Things like that happen too, so it's a lot of different things that come into play.

Speaker 2:

Also, I wanted to ask what is the, what is the different expectation between? I mean, I feel like I know what an individual session would be like versus a group session.

Speaker 3:

Sure. So an individual session, spirit is going to get more into the nitty gritty of of whatever you're there for. Like I said, everything is for your greatest and highest good that day, whether it's relationship, career, maybe you're having some health issues that you want clarity on, maybe you want to connect with your deceased grandmother we can get into so many different things, as long as it's allowed by spirit or by heaven, and you will have a little bit less privacy, meaning spirit will share more things with me than they would in a group reading. In a group setting, I tell people all the time spirit will respect your privacy. They respect your privacy, either individual you know private session or group session, but in a group session I've noticed that they'll respect the privacy a little bit more.

Speaker 3:

And if there is something that they're going to have come through as as a message for a person in a group setting, it's going to be a little bit coded and I won't even know what it. What it means is and I tell people all the time as long as the reading makes sense to you, that's what matters. It's not going to make sense to me most of the time. I get curious, I want to know more, but as long as it makes sense to the client, that's what matters. In a private session they might not give it so coded and they'll be more direct in the messaging. And I don't share my readings with anyone. Everything's private. I don't. You know, I'm not. Some mediums put their their readings on on Instagram or whatever their social media platform is. I don't do that?

Speaker 2:

People reading on Tik Tok all the time? Yeah, that's not my thing, no, no no, I mean, I feel like that's like that whole like validation, like okay, you do, you, I guess. But also I wanted to ask you about if somebody's trying to come through that your client isn't interested in or they didn't have a good relationship with, or negative energies, or also, like I don't know what your belief is, but what about people who maybe didn't go to heaven?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so a few different ways to answer your question. So if someone's coming through and this does happen, where you know I'm describing this person to the client and the and I'll and I'll say you know, I can kind of feel when the client's a little resistant on what on whoever that soul is, and I'll ask do you want to stick with this person or do you want to move on? Sometimes they'll tell me that they want to move on and we move on. It doesn't mean that the soul leaves. Oftentimes I see them just step aside and they just listen and wait their turn if the person changes their mind. Now, as far as anything negative coming through, do you mean like a negative entity?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, or yeah Well, because you said something about, like after your session, like you, you like kind of have to clear yourself out so that nothing negative comes. So what would that? I kind of was like trying to touch on that, like what would that mean or entail?

Speaker 3:

So I've learned that when I do readings for people, I'm very well protected, so there are no negative entities or energies that come through. So when I was describing how I closed down after every session, it's to protect myself energetically, it's to protect myself. So, basically, when you open up as a psychic or medium and you open up and you're about to give a reading, you're not open to just the good stuff, you're open to the bad stuff, you're open to everything. Yeah, so spiritual protection and I do that often it's very important. That's why closing down is so important after reading and because it does. If I stay open too long, those negative things will start to make themselves known and I'm not interested in that. I don't want to deal with it. It's annoying, it's tedious, it's not my jam, so I try to keep them out as much as I can. I think you had another question in there too.

Speaker 2:

I know I'm blanking people who don't go to heaven.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah. So when I do readings, many of the souls that come through are in purgatory.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

I mean, it just is what it is. Sometimes they're still earthbound. Sometimes I do see them come through heaven. There's a door when I do mediumship. There's a beautiful blue sky, big white door. They come through the door and I know that they've been in heaven. Now, for any souls that are in hell, I have not had that experience. It could be that they're not allowed to come through because they're in hell, or it could be that it's not something spirit or God wants me to connect with and so I'm protected that way as well, or because they're in hell. They haven't earned the reading Right. I was going to say.

Speaker 2:

He said something about earning whatever, and so that was another question too like if you're not in heaven, in your earthbound or in purgatory, you can still earn that connection.

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Yes, it can definitely happen. So what I'm studying in my belief system is that when we're in purgatory, we're being humbled, you know there's. We all sin, we all make mistakes. We all at some point have to atone for those sins and mistakes, and that's what purgatory is for. Now, if someone's in purgatory and has been asking for forgiveness and working towards earning their way into heaven absolutely if they have a loved one that really wants to connect with them and make sure that they're okay, if that soul in purgatory has earned basically like visitation rights, yeah, they'll be allowed to come through in a reading maybe five, 10 minutes, maybe even longer. So it really it's really individual on each client and whoever the person is, that's past that they want to connect with. So I'm trying it's like I'm trying to give a blanket statement, but also remind me it's so individualized yeah.

Speaker 3:

It really is unique to each individual soul. Truly, that's true. So, but it's it's still. It doesn't make it any less special just because they're in purgatory. It's still beautiful, it's still still a really insightful reading, I think, for clients, and there's a lot of healing that happens, you know, when I mentioned earlier, when I see people cry during a reading, I know that they're getting something out of it. It's that simple, yeah.

Speaker 2:

How do you handle skeptism?

Speaker 3:

Well, there's definitely skeptics out there. I do actually have a post on my blog, on my website, where I talk about why skepticism is good. I think it's important for people to question things. I think it's important, you know, just because I say, hey, kelly, did you know that the sky's green, it doesn't mean you should believe me. You should go outside and look and see for yourself, and I think that's important. I don't believe everything people tell me. I'm a skeptical person by nature, so I think skepticism is important.

Speaker 3:

Now, that said, if you're skeptical of the supernatural, the paranormal, life after death, whatever you want to call it, and you've been given example after example after example in your own life and your own life experiences, that there is life after death, but you're ignoring it and you're just, I guess, at that point, being ignorant to the topic, that's a different issue and I can't help you, you know. So I think skepticism is very important. When I have a reading and I'm sitting in front of a client and they start to deny or discount the messages that are coming through from spirit, I can feel it. I can feel them starting to shut down, and that's where skepticism can really kind of become a stumbling block for people. So if anyone who's listening is considering a psychic reading with me, or anybody as long as they're qualified, I tell people all the time just find someone qualified who's not going to charge you an arm and a leg. You have to be as open-minded as possible and as open-hearted as possible in order to have the highest level reading, because you want to get the most out of it that you can.

Speaker 3:

So if you're skeptical and I you know I've had Kelly I had a gentleman a few months back email me and he said I don't believe in what you do. I think you take advantage of people, but I feel really called to have a session with you and I was like, okay. So we did a 30-minute session and I mean it's easy for me to say that everything was spot on, because I can't prove it. I don't share readings with people, but I will tell you everything was spot on and he validated so many things in that 30 minutes that I think for him it was probably really eye-opening and he needed that. So skepticism is so important. But if spirits basically being in their head against the wall to try to prove themselves to you, they're going to stop at some point If you're not going to open your mind to it, why would they keep trying to prove it you?

Speaker 2:

know what I mean. Yeah, if you're going to get a reading like you want to be as open as you possibly can, and if you're not, I mean it's probably a waste of everyone's time.

Speaker 3:

Well, if you're not, that's okay, but when the medium is giving you an accurate description of your deceased father what he looks like, what his job was, how he passed, what his personality was, his hobbies and everything is spot on but you're denying it because you can't wrap your mind around how this is happening, which I get it's mind-blowing. I understand that, but then you're going to get in your own way. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Is there like a common message that you typically receive from spirits?

Speaker 3:

So there's definitely trends. I've noticed there's a lot of souls asking for forgiveness from the client because they know that there's been some sort of hurt or animosity or some kind of distrust or whatever that relationship was or falling out was. There's a lot of asking for forgiveness. There's a lot of messages of love that come through. Before I give a reading group or private, I always tell people everything truly comes from love.

Speaker 3:

When I went into that first reading with Oracle Marine all those years ago on Woodbury, I was very worried about judgment because I had never done it before. I didn't know what to expect. I was very worried. I'm not a perfect person. I know I've made mistakes. I know I've hurt people. I was nervous going into that. It wasn't. I was skeptical, I was nervous. I was worried about judgment. But I tell people there's no judgment for me. There should be no judgment. If your psychic medium is qualified, there should be no judgment from them. There's no judgment from the other side. Everything truly comes from love, it's true. I've experienced it as a client for over a decade and I experience it now as a medium who reads for people. That's another theme. Everything's from love.

Speaker 3:

A lot of asking for forgiveness, a lot of guidance Our deceased loved ones. They know what we're up to. They know if we're trying to get this certain job. They know if we're nervous about maybe making a really big career change or a big move. They know these things are happening. Oftentimes they'll come through and they'll give messages to help the person make what they already know intuitively is the choice that they should make, but Spirit will give them a little bit of a push in that direction. There's a lot of guidance, in my view, proof that there is life after death.

Speaker 2:

How do you handle emotionally challenging or sensitive messages that you receive for your clients?

Speaker 3:

It can be. Yeah, it definitely can be challenging. My job is to not filter. My job is to give everything that I receive to the client exactly as I receive it. Sometimes it comes in really fast and it takes me a second to like gather out my brain and spit it out, because telepathy can be really really fast, whereas here for us in the physical world things can be really slow and dense. So that can be a little bit of a challenge. But as far as like the emotional messages, yeah, it can be difficult, but I have to do it. I can't sit on my hands. It's not my place, it's not. You know, I work for spirit, I work for God, I work for the souls that have passed, I advocate for them, and so it's not my job to not deliver something because I might be uncomfortable, because, guess what, I'm not going to remember the reading tomorrow. I mean, I forget a lot of what comes through. So my comfort level doesn't matter. It's what the person needs to hear, whether it's a positive message or perhaps a message that they don't really might not want to hear, but they need to. So it can be challenging. The hard sometimes.

Speaker 3:

The hardest for me is when suicide is involved, and I remember when I was first developing as a medium, I met with a classmate who had lost someone to suicide. But I didn't know this at the time, and so I'm reading for her, you know, for practice, and all of a sudden there's the person that she wants, but I really can't see him very well. There's a lot of gunk. I call it gunk. There's a lot of gunk around him, which I've learned when I see that it's typical sometimes as a suicide it can be other things as well that creates all that gunk, but he's very gunky. You know who's that pig pen from Charlie Brown. Oh yeah, it's kind of like that. Where it's. I just I can't see him because there's so much gunk or dirt or whatever you want to call it.

Speaker 3:

And so I asked him how he passed and it took a few minutes. But he finally told me it was suicide and I sat on it for a couple of minutes because I didn't know that my friend knew oh, friend meaning classmate. I mean, I really didn't know her up until the time we were in class together, so I didn't know anything about this person that she was wanting to connect with or what their relationship was, until the reading. And so finally I've learned that when spirit tells me something three times, I have to just spit it out. And he told me suicide three times and he told me what happened and I finally said it and my classmate validated it and I started sobbing because it was my first experience with communicating that suicide to a to you know well, in this case a classmate. She wasn't a client. So there's a lot of different challenging things. That's the one time, that, where my emotions basically got the better of me, because I just, you know, I just haven't ever experienced that before, and then it looks the way that you described it.

Speaker 2:

I mean that would be a little alarming or or hard to process.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was a bit of a heavy one. You know I forget a lot of readings, but that is. That is an experience that is definitely stuck with me over the years.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Okay, I have another question for you and you don't have to answer it if you want to, but I just want to know what do you, what do you think happens when we die?

Speaker 3:

Well, I think we have a choice. I think I think most of us have a choice, some of us don't, and we go to hell. You know, those are the worst of the worst which you know what.

Speaker 2:

To be honest, like, I think there's a place in heaven for me, but there are some people that I hope are not there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, and I hear that a lot too. So I think most of us have a choice People some people don't. They go to hell. They're murderers, rapists, pedophilia, I would imagine, animal abusers. I don't have all the answers on that, at least not right now but those people don't have a choice. You know we. You hear a lot about ghosts. There's a lot, you know, that's very popular right now is ghost hunting and paranormal television shows.

Speaker 3:

I think I think we have a choice. Do we want to stay earthbound or are we going to be okay with going to purgatory if we need to apologize and ask for forgiveness for our sins and mistakes? Some people don't want to do that and they stay earthbound. That's just one reason why they might stay earthbound. That's not I'm not saying that's the reason why every ghost is earthbound. Those of us that make the choice to go on to the other side. For some of us it's purgatory. For, I believe, very few of us it's heaven right off the bat. I think we have to work really hard to get into heaven right off the bat. So I think when we die, we have those, those choices to make, although I'm going to say I'm going to say this with a little bit like of an asterisk, I think, initially, when we first passed. I think we're allowed to visit our family, and I say that because I've had visitation like earthbound visitation.

Speaker 3:

When my mom passed, I saw her two days later sitting on my couch. That very same night she came into my bedroom. I could feel her energetically, in mind you, this was in 2019, before I knew I was psychic. I could feel her energetically and she put her hand on my, my shoulder, and I think that's when she finally decided to move on and go where she needed to go. Next. I know she's not earthbound anymore, so I think that's definitely possible. I hear a lot of stories from people who, after a day or two of their loved one having passed, there's some sort of visitation or there's some sort of experience that happens when they get I'm just going to call it visitation, even though it might not seem that way for some people but some kind of proof I guess you could call it that the departed, the person that just passed, is with them before they move on, whether it's purgatory or heaven. So I think I think most of us get a choice. Some of us don't. I think it's. It sounds complicated, but I think it's actually really simple.

Speaker 2:

That makes sense to me. Yeah, do you believe in reincarnation?

Speaker 3:

100%. Okay, I do, yeah, I do, and part of it.

Speaker 2:

I do too, but I was, I was wondering if you did.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. So I know that's not very popular in Catholicism, but a big reason why I say that is, for one, it's what I felt to be true in my soul ever since I was like 10. I mean, it's something I've just always believed in, and also because I am currently taking a few different classes, one of which is advanced psychic development, and in that class I am a student of Kwan Yen, who I don't know. If you know who she is, she basically is the Buddhist goddess of mercy and compassion. So think of Mother Mary is the queen of the West and Kwan Yen is the queen of the East. So they're the two queens of the universe that serve Jesus and God. And so in the class, kwan Yen will channel many things through Oracle Marine, and I've had the pleasure of having some visitations myself from Kwan Yen. I have, if anyone's interested, I have a blog post regarding the visitation I had from her in August of this year, or actually 2023. Now we're in 24th.

Speaker 2:

And your most recent podcast. You talked to all about this.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so it's. Yeah, reincarnation is a thing. If you don't want to believe in it, that's fine, but it happens, so get on board.

Speaker 2:

So you talk about animal connection. So I like to have this whole envisionment of when I go to heaven a long, long time from now, that I'm going to be like my past. Pets are going to just be like oh, you're finally home, mom, like we're back together. Yeah, so are animals and human souls together in heaven.

Speaker 3:

You know, I've seen more of what I guess I'll call people heaven than I have of animal heaven. So when I've seen animal heaven, I've only seen animals. So I think there's gosh. I don't know enough about it and I'm just going to be honest. I know animals go, are pets. I mean, I'm not kidding when I tell you I've seen guinea pigs and readings, I've seen horses, I've seen hamsters, I've seen dogs, cats and probably some other animals. I'm forgetting right now, but I know that they go to heaven and I know. And when we had to put our cat down about a year and a half ago now, which was very taxing on me, it was very, very hard, and that very night he visited me in a visitation dream, just you know, five, well, maybe eight or nine hours after he passed. So I know that there's an animal heaven.

Speaker 3:

Now, whether or not they're mixed with souls of people, I don't know. That that's true all the time. My, from my understanding and from what I've learned and what I've seen is that they to get like visitation rights where souls of humans and souls of animals can go visit one another. So I think that is definitely how it works. I mean, it's something I'm definitely interested in. I just don't have all the information for you today, but I will say when I do mediumship readings I will see people come through with their pets all the time. They're definitely together. Sometimes an animal will come in on their own, but oftentimes I'll see them come through with a deceased loved one. So and I tell people that, whether you know if they're- like your grandma's here with her dog.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, or I think okay, or your grandma's here with your dog, oh yeah, that happens very often. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

It's cool. I'm just envisioning my grandma with my dog and I just can't ever see. I'm wanting to be together. That's cute. That's cute. That happens. All right, is there anything else you want to share or talk about?

Speaker 3:

Oh gosh, you know I tell people often, kelly, that you don't need a medium to talk to your loved ones that have passed. You don't need a medium to talk to with your guardian angels, your spirit guides. You can talk to them whenever you want. Where people like me come in handy is when they want to communicate to you, because it is definitely, I think, for most mediums. It's definitely a learned skill to discern the messages that come through. So that's where mediums come in handy is when they want to communicate back. But I just really want to encourage people talk to your loved ones, if you know, if your mom passed and you really miss her, talk to her because I promise you she's listening. They want there is a way to maintain the relationship.

Speaker 3:

Obviously, the relationship is so different now. It is so different, but it's possible. So I think that's really important for people to know. I'm really glad we talked about animal communication, because that is important for people to know too. We're so connected to our pets and I think it's important for people to know that they go to heaven just like we do. So I really appreciate the opportunity to talk about all this. It's so fun. I could seriously talk to you about this for days. Good, so probably have more questions.

Speaker 2:

That's fun. Yeah, my mom died in 2020. And it's funny because I really never had anyone close to me die until she died.

Speaker 2:

So, I really did not understand loss and grief of somebody close to you. And my mom visited Mackie and I often after she died. I mean, I just felt her with us all the time and I talked to her and I would tell people and they look at me like I was complete whack job. But I was like you know what, I know what I saw and I know what I felt and I know what I've heard in my head and it gives me a lot of peace. So I talk to my mom all the time.

Speaker 3:

That's really good that you do, because it makes them so happy. They don't wanna be forgotten. It makes them so happy and it's important for you to. I'm glad that you trust that, because so many people will deny it and say, oh, it's my imagination or it's wishful thinking, or I'm just really tired. However, they wanna try to write it off. So it is really important that when you feel your deceased loved one around you, that you trust it, because it's happening, it's real, it's. I mean, to me it's so black and white and obvious that when I hear stories like that but people just write it off, I just kind of shake my head. And it's so unfortunate because your loved one wants you to know that they're with you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and it's like I said, I had never experienced anything like that and I don't even know if I really believed in that, but it was. It's undeniable what's happening. And my son McCoy, he would say like we would talk we still talk about my mom all the time. Have memories, or do you remember this? Or oh, you know, gima used to always say this, or whatever. And but my son would say like, oh yeah, I see Gima all the time and this is like when she first passed and I'm like you do, where do you see her? And he's like oh, she comes and sits on my bed when I'm playing video games and I'm like do you see her? And he goes. It's not like I see her, but like I can see the indent on the bed and I can hear that she sat down and I just know she's there.

Speaker 3:

And I was like that's so interesting, especially for your son, and he was well, he's 15 now, so this is, you know, three, four years ago.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so kids are. You know, a lot of kids are really sensitive and sometimes parents want to just write that off too. So I'm glad that he's comfortable talking with you and sharing that with you, because, I mean, that's what you just described are two of the ways that you do know when they're next to you. If you're not seeing them with your physical eyes or with your third eye, but you see the indentation or you hear them, or for me, I have a really strong point, chakra and you feel them. That's so important and it sounds like your mom has definitely earned a lot of those visitations. So keep talking to her, keep encouraging her, I would say, to visit, and we can even ask her to come into your dreams if you're open to a dream visitation, and sometimes they wait for permission or they wait for the invitation. So if that's something you're open to, my mom would never wait for permission.

Speaker 2:

Well, I'm just making light of it because my mom had a very strong personality.

Speaker 3:

You would be surprised though, because that does happen where I'll be giving a mediumship reading and this has actually happened a few times where the deceased loved one they'll ask me to tell the client. This person wants to visit you in the dreams, but they're waiting for permission or for an invitation. So I don't know if that's some kind of like rule that is just required regardless of how their personality is. I'm kind of I'm leaning that way just because of what I've experienced in reading. So if you're open to it, I would say just make sure she knows she's invited, make sure she knows you're okay with it, and see what happens.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I've also had experiences where I've really been struggling with something and I'll like be kind of like talking to myself in my head like ah, like what do I do right now? And I've heard her voice clear as day in my head, Like give me the answer and I'm like that's what I have to do.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and it also might even know. Kelly, it's so cool, but that's also a psychic ability. Not everyone will hear that. I only ever have heard my mom's voice. That's okay, though, but I just I want you to know that we all that's you know.

Speaker 3:

you asked what else do I want to share, and that's the thing I want to share is that we all have these abilities. It's whether or not you want to tap into it. I, just because of my son and what happened with Jack, I'm someone that wanted to tap into it and so, and actually looking back on my life, there's a lot of things that led me this way anyway. So I mean, it was just kind of like inevitable that was gonna happen. But we all have the abilities. I mean, we all have intuition. There's ways to strengthen it If you want to develop your intuition further, just like there's ways to strengthen your psychic channels if you want to develop your psychic abilities even further. So, with your son and with what you just described, I just want you to know that that's what it is.

Speaker 1:

That's awesome.

Speaker 2:

It's an amazing feeling, so I'll tell you. You know, anything that I get from my mom now, like I just take it.

Speaker 3:

So it's good. So are you keeping a journal?

Speaker 2:

I'm a terrible journal-er.

Speaker 3:

This is my journal.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, I get it, I have a pretty open book. I talk about everything I have as zero secrets. I sell them.

Speaker 3:

I would say document it down, though, because everything that's coming through, whether it's from and I tell people this all the time too whether it's your guardian angels, your spirit guides, your deceased loved one, in your case your mom write everything down, because it's so cool to go back and read through. I do that with all the visions I receive and messages I get from spirit. I document everything. I'm an awful artist, but I will draw everything like I'm a fourth grader and I'll color things in. I have my colored pencils I carry everywhere with me. Documented, because everything comes through for a reason, and if you go back and look at it, you might see a trend or you might see a message that you didn't realize at the time. So get yourself a little journal, okay well, thank you, I like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, of course, june. Where can everyone find you?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I have a website, juneheslercom very simple. I also have a Facebook page, junehesler Medium, and an Instagram page at JuneHesler. I also have oh, excuse me, I also have a podcast called the Midwest Medium Podcast that is on all major podcasting platforms. It's free, you don't have to subscribe.

Speaker 3:

My mission, really, if I can just explain quickly why I started the podcast, is you know, I was really into paranormal shows and then I started into my mediumship journey and then I started to dislike these paranormal shows even though I do still watch them yes, I do because it's so focused on the negative side of paranormal and supernatural and I was getting really fed up and borderline offended. I'm not offended easily, but when I am I get very irritated, and so I was telling my husband one night I'm so irritated with these shows. It's all negative and what I have seen is so beautiful. The glimpses I've seen of heaven, the glimpses I've seen of spirit guides and angels, the glimpses, I will say, that I've seen of Jesus. Everything is so incredibly beautiful. Why is the mainstream media focusing on the negative and the dark side and the negative entities and ugh anyway. So that is how the Midwest Medium Podcast was born. I was tired of it and I am on a mission to normalize mediumship because I believe it should be normalized. You can continue those relationships with those who have passed. It's just gonna be obviously very different but it's possible. And my podcast focuses on the positive side of the paranormal and the supernatural.

Speaker 3:

I've had really great guests, people that I've met along the way. I've had more well-known guests, such as Echo Bodine, who I mentioned earlier, dave Schrader he's on a lot of different paranormal shows and even my spiritual teacher, oracle Marine, has come on. So there's some really fun episodes. It was born out of frustration and it is a passion project of mine, so I hope people will check that out. And that's how I found you. Kelly was with the Midwest Medium Podcast, having an Instagram page which I update here and there. I'm not so great at it. That's how I found you in your podcast. So I really enjoy listening to you and your son and you're such a great interviewer and I enjoy your interviews with all your other guests.

Speaker 3:

So I'm so appreciative that I'm now part of your little club.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I always tell my guests that now we're friends, so now you're stuck with me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, I remember I told Dave Schrader that after we, after we like, oh, I was so nervous for that. So do you know who he is? Are you familiar?

Speaker 2:

His name is really familiar, but I can't envision what he looks like.

Speaker 3:

Yeah so he lives in Minnesota here, he's not far and so he's been on Ghost Adventures. He's been Ghost of Devils, purge, holds Our Files. He did a Lizzie Borden Special and he does some ghosting or investigations around the state that people can sign up for and investigate with him. And so I remember I was getting ready to interview. I couldn't believe. He said yes when I asked him to do it and I was so excited and I was so nervous, yeah, so nervous. And then at the very end we're done recording and we're talking and I was thanking him and then I said, by the way, dave, we're best friends now and he was like what? So anyway, he's a good sport, he's a fun guy. And then I finally got to meet him and Echo, actually on the same day, a couple of months later. So yeah, having a podcast is fun. As you know, it's a lot of work but it's fun.

Speaker 2:

It does open a lot of doors that you never thought would be possible.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's someone I'm trying to get on mine right now and I'm not gonna say who because I don't know yet if it's gonna happen, but he's in the Catholic community, I guess she could say, and he's growing in popularity. So I don't know if I'll get him, but I'm trying. So but yeah, it opens doors.

Speaker 2:

It's fun. A lot of people will ask me like, how did you get so-and-so on your podcast? I'm like, I just asked them. Like, if you don't ask, you don't know. So, I don't have anything to lose by asking.

Speaker 3:

No, like when I asked Echo, I just sent an email and I explained to who I was, why I was reaching out, what I could offer, and I even told Dave I can't pay you, I'm not gonna pay you but, I, can promote your stuff. People listen to my show and so I couldn't believe it. I got a response from Echo three hours later and I was like what. She knows who I am. She knows my first name. She said yes, so it's exciting.

Speaker 2:

It's fun. Yeah, it's a lovely feeling too when somebody says yes or even when you reach out to me. And I was like June wants to be on my podcast.

Speaker 3:

it's amazing. I love that you're local and I love your interview style with your guests, so that's why I was like, okay, I wonder if Kelly wants to talk, and I'm so good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I also wanna tell you that I listen to a lot of podcasts and there's somewhere I'm like, oh, I'm gonna listen to this while I'm kinda like trying to fall asleep. But when I see that you have a new episode, I'm like, oh no, I have to save that one for an awake state. Oh, thank you, I don't wanna miss anything. I'm glad you don't sleep during my episode.

Speaker 3:

No, I don't sleep during yours.

Speaker 2:

There's some I do, but not yours.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, thank you, I appreciate that. It's a lot of fun. It's a labor of love, as you know, with yours, but you can reach a lot of people and I'm surprised how far and wide podcasting can reach so many people in different states, even different countries. Yeah, but you can touch a lot of people that way, so it's very rewarding.

Speaker 2:

Well, June, thank you so much for coming on the podcast. It was so much pleasure for me to talk to you and pick your brain a little bit and learn so much and, like I said, once you have lost somebody it opens up so much more. You just don't understand until you've been there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and if we haven't been there yet, you're going to be there soon because we all those people. So I appreciate the opportunity. Kelly, thank you so much. It's been a lot of fun.

Speaker 2:

All right, bestie, see you soon, okay, bye-bye. Wasn't June great? Yeah, she was great. I'm actually going to schedule a reading with her, oh, really, yeah, I want to see what I've always kind of wanted to do, that I've always been really scared, but now I'm After talking to her, I feel super comfortable with her. I really like her. I consider her my friend and she's here local in the Twin Cities, yeah, so I'm going to do it. I just saw a thing that Fonda Rosa is hiring. That would be a sweet job.

Speaker 1:

She got it so far away it is so far. Is it like an hour? Yeah?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's way too long.

Speaker 1:

I would love to work there, we know You'd be walking around like what, what?

Speaker 2:

You'd be petting all the animals walking around like all day, all day. Okay, so what else do I have to tell?

Speaker 1:

you.

Speaker 2:

I just have some business stuff to talk about. Is there anything else you want to talk about?

Speaker 1:

No, I'm ready for whatever you got.

Speaker 2:

So I'm going to talk about some business things and then I think you have a would-you-rather for me, yeah, and I have a funny joke.

Speaker 1:

And you have my. What's your question? Driver's question oh shit, Did you forget about that? Pause?

Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm sorry. What was the question? Do I have your what question ready? The driver's ed test. Yes, I do, I came prepared.

Speaker 2:

You are not ready but now you are All right, so I just want to let you know. Next week we have a super great guest. I have Lacey and Bobby Joe from Salute THC Dispensary out of Clo K, minnesota. There's also going to be some discount codes on there. So a lot of super good information. I felt really ignorant talking to them, but they answered questions in such a great way and I think that what's really great about them coming on the podcast is I don't, I don't mind asking stupid questions and I think a lot of people have the same questions. I do not saying that you're stupid, I'll take that, but anyway. So yeah, be prepared for that. It's going to be great.

Speaker 2:

All right, do you want to start with your driver's ad question. Yeah, let's do it. Okay, yes, all right, so envision this yes.

Speaker 2:

When you see a school bus stopped with its red lights flashing, its stop arm extended, you must blink, unless it is stopped on the opposite side of a separated, divided roadway. So when you see a school bus stop with its red lights flashing and its stop arm extended, do you stop at least 40 feet away from the bus, do you slow down and proceed with caution, do you change lanes and proceed with caution, or do you stop at least 20 feet from the bus?

Speaker 1:

I think you go around it.

Speaker 2:

No, you don't.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, wait, wait.

Speaker 2:

You stop because you could hit a kid. I was just going to say that your first answer is wrong.

Speaker 1:

No, I didn't mean to say that. I cracked myself. I was like, no, I wouldn't have picked that 20 feet away.

Speaker 2:

I would say 40.

Speaker 1:

What, yeah, 20 feet is not that far you could hit a kid man, I wouldn't have ridden those kids bro.

Speaker 2:

Once you see that shit happen, you got to stop. I don't really know if it's 20 or 40. I can't remember.

Speaker 1:

So, bro it's not.

Speaker 2:

proceed with caution. I can tell you that, yeah, I cracked myself.

Speaker 1:

It's short show. How far away are you supposed to be from a?

Speaker 2:

school bus 20 or 40 feet? Yeah, you don't know. I mean. I think it's 40. Why are you going to start? I'm telling you I'd pick 40. Do you have a, would you rather?

Speaker 1:

Yes, are you ready for it?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm ready, I'm ready. Give it to me, baby. What would you do? Give it to me baby Huh. Meow, meow, meow, meow. Oh, the choo-choo's coming. Choo-choo, come on. No dead air bro, get off your tech.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

All right, you've missed it. Yeah, Bye guys. What did we have to do this board? All we're gonna do is look at your phone. Okay, go ahead. You shouldn't have done that.

Speaker 1:

True, I'm not gonna regret or feel bad. I'll do the same thing as you. You can't.

Speaker 2:

You have to outlive me. It's our pact.

Speaker 1:

We're gonna die at the same time, then if you both took the same thing.

Speaker 2:

Okay, all right, that's fine.

Speaker 1:

So we'll just die together.

Speaker 2:

Sounds really morbid, but okay.

Speaker 1:

It does. At least we'll be with each other forever then, yes, yes.

Speaker 2:

I would like that, but I mean I want you to outlive me. All right, I got a funny joke. Are you ready? Yeah, ah, you didn't even hear it yet. You don't even know it. I don't even tell you them ahead of time, I know what do you get when you cross an angry cow with an angry sheep.
